We embed a carefully selected tumbled stone, made from colorful gemstones or jewelry stones, in our "Lederlit" material. This is a special synthetic material we developed ourselves, which is deceptively similar to real hard leather in appearance and feel.
The Magic of Real Gemstones
For these brooches, we use hand-selected, high-quality jewelry stones that are otherwise reserved for higher-priced jewelry. For example, we don't just use any agates, but rather those with fine banding or in naturally vibrant colors. But metallically shimmering Hematite, the black-and-white speckled Snowflake Obsidian, or Moonstone also exert an irresistible attraction. The gently polished shape of the tumbled stone engages in a beautiful dialogue with the artfully curved, ornamental windings of the Lederlit setting.

The secret lies in the setting: Our "Lederlit" is thermally formed and individually adapted to the contours of each stone. This creates the impression that the stone is wrapped in black leather. Unlike real leather, the material is insensitive to water, sweat, and the adventures of everyday life.
