Pendants combining tumbled Rubellite and 925 Silver Bail
What looks like a raspberry candy here is a tumbled stone of red tourmaline ("Rubellite"). The spectacular color of this stone from Brazil is entirely natural. The chromophore, or coloring agent, is traces of manganese that were "built into" the tourmaline's crystal lattice during the complex crystallization process deep within the rock.
We drill a fine hole into the tourmaline tumbled stones and firmly set a 925 sterling silver pin bail into it.
