Quartz Pentelerite Clocks
Quartz pentelerite is a rare rock that occurs in a volcanic rock field in Southern Arizona and in northwest of Mexico. The pentelerite consists mainly of four minerals - quartz, anorthoclase, riebeckite and aegirine. It has an orbicular (spherical) structure. Particularly striking are the round, light green, often eye-shaped inclusions from the Riebeckite, which are enclosed in a dark green matrix of aegirine, riebeckite, anorthoclase and quartz. The quartz pentelerite is an attractive and very decorative rock from which we have exclusively produced the presented clocks.
