Particularly the stromatoporoid fauna from the central and southern parts of the devonian limestones belt, the Moravian Karst is under study. Stromatoporoid and coral fauna are stratigraphycally assignable to the upper part of the Middle Devonian (Givetian) and to the lower part of the Upper Devonian (Frasnian).
