 The fibrous aggregates of dark silky red,  hematite form up to 3.3 cm large inclusions in a quartz hematite vein. When securing an old mine in 2010, the hematite was found on the historic stockpile of the František mine near Horní Blatná Iron Ore District in the Ore Mountains.
