Paramblypterus vratislaviensis was an ancient species of bony fish belonging to the genus Paramblypterus. It lived in rivers and lakes during the Permian period, around 255–290 million years ago. As a typical freshwater fish of its time, it provides important insights into the early evolution of ray‑finned fishes.
