Jewelry and Triplets made of Gibeon Meteorite
The Gibeon meteorite is named after its discovery location in Namibia. As early as 1836, fragments of an iron meteorite (Octahedrite Group IV A) were found near the town of Gibeon, which, according to current scientific knowledge, impacted over a million years ago.
The typical crystal structure, or "Widmanstätten patterm", becomes particularly impressive after polishing and etching.
From our jewelry collection, only a few triplets remain, i.e., meteorite slices covered on both sides with clear rock crystal. Secure the last specimens in our shop, as we are not expecting new stock!
