Synoptic Geological Map
The maps shows, besides the North Bohemian Brown Coal Basin, the geology of the crystalline complex of the Krušné hory Mts., neovolcanites of the E. part of the Doupovské hory Mts., and W. part of the České středohoří Mts. adjacent sectors of the central Bohemian Permian-Carboniferous and the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin, and the continental Quaternary of the whole region. The region is as shown on the map the place of the largest and most intensive anthropogenic activity and changes in Czech Republic. The supplementary map includes some additional, e.g. geologically significant localities, state nature reserves, protected areas, etc. The map is intended not only for professional but also for broad public.
