Fluorapatite
Item number: MIN0092
Price: EUR 100.00
Quartz-chalcedony-martite matrix shows a great contrast with pretty yellow-green, gemmy with glassy luster, translucent crystals of Fluorapatite. Some of post genetic tectonic activity at this Iron deposit documents the transversal fracture of excellent gemmy 3 cm long Fluorapatite crystal. Hydrothermal activity can be seen by transition of quartz to light bluish chalcedony clumps. The spherulitic chalcedony fluorescents intensively yellow in short UV.
The Fluorapatite crystals are a secondary mineral in this Mexican iron deposit.
