This rock slab shows well‑preserved, carbonized skeletal remains of two early amphibians from the Early Permian of the Boskovice Furrow. On the left is Discosauriscus moravicus, and on the right is probably Discosauriscus pulcherrimus. These animals were among the first vertebrates to leave the sea and begin to colonize the land around 270 million years ago.
