This clock, made from a slate plate from Holzmaden (near Stuttgart) containing fossils, is both a timekeeper and a witness of time. While the quartz movement turns the hands forward second by second, time has stood still for the ammonites of the genus Dactylioceras for 170 million years. You will receive exactly the clock shown, made in our own workshop. The clock mechanism is equipped with a wall‑mounting device.
