Aggregates of long prismatic, clear to yellowish scalenohedrons often partly dissolved on the surface by secondary hydrothermal corrosion. High lustrous glassy coating on the surface of crystals is a result of this natural corrosion. This type of calcite crystals is a typical occurrence at karst similar cavities along hydrothermal polymetallic veins at Santa Eulalia ore district.
