Globes of semi precious stones

Challenging process has been hit by creating globes of semi precious stones. Using about 30 different stones each country has been cut out by lasser and inlayed on the surface of the globe. Powdered lapis lazuli generates an ocean. Surface of the globe is protected by thin coat of resin. Stands are made of polished brass.
