Doublet Magnifier, chrome, 20-fold

 This doublet foldaway magnifier provides 20-fold magnification. This magnifier consists of two glass lenses, is aplanatic and has a metal housing.  This type of magnifing lenses is very popular because the lens system can be folded inside the protective metal case during transportation or storage. Doing so, the lenses are less likely to get scratched or to break and have very small dimensions.
